I'm getting a message that "Internet explorer" is running without "add-ons". When I click on tools, manage add-ons, it is greyed out. Any suggestions??

Firefox is a work around not a solution.

The Manage Add-ons option on the Tools menu is disabled when Internet Explorer is running in no add-on mode. You can still manage add-ons, but you must do so by using Internet Options in Control Panel. Here's how:

1. Open Internet Options by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Network and Internet, and then clicking Internet Options.

2. Click the Programs tab, and then click Manage add-ons.

NoteThe changes you make will not take effect until you restart Internet Explorer normally (when you are not using no add-on mode).
