Can you give us more details? I really have no idea what this "stand" does. What is its purpose? What kind of handicap is it supposed to aid?

Without anything more to go on, how about od3's "Handi-Stand"? Sounds catchy, anyway.

Having a child who is now an adult that has had an assortment of stands through her growing years I find this an interesting question. But yes it would be true that not many people who dont live or work with children with disabilities would understand the use of a stand. So here is a little info to add to this question.

Many disabilities affect the persons muscle strength and or coordination a couple of these are cerebral palsy and brain injury. As a person grows their feet and legs will grow straighter, stronger, and healthier in circulation if they bear their own weight on their legs and feet. Failure to use a standing frame can cause serious deformity in the feet and legs and will cause the feet to fail to grow and can cause the thigh bones to be too loose in the hip socket and even come out of the hip socket.

The use of a standing frame improves circulation to all parts of the feet and legs, encourages the feet to grow and strengthens both bones and muscles in the feet and legs.

Having said all that my suggestions for names for your standing frame are:
UP-RITE STANDER
STAND UP 'N' SEE
TRU-STAND

No guarantees that these are no copywritten or trademarked you will need to do some research for that.
