Well I would look on TigerDirect for a PC. I would stay away from Gateway, their computers are junk. Its good to get a PC with these specs: 512 Ram DDR or DDR2 ( you only get 2% speed increase with DDR2). 80gig or more hardrive. at least a 3.0 ghz processor ( don't with anything lower, if you want a good experence, get at least a 3.0 ghz nothing lower). Computer now usally come with intigrated graphics, so im guessing that you arn't going to be a hardcore gamer, so I wouldn't worry about the graphics chip. If you buy a flat screen, I would think about getting one with 5 milisecond response time ( usally on tigerdirect, they are displayed on the Product description thats dispayed when you search for it, if not, check the detailed specs of it). It would be best to go to TigerDirect because they have VERY good deals on there. Also if you wanna take a little more risk, check out ebay. It doesn't matter what brand you get, but stay away from Gateway and Compaq. Also they have printers on Tigerdirect. www.tigerdirect.com

I would buy a computer from Dell, because on their website they let you select everything you need for your computer. Their monitors are really nice and they offer different brands of printers as well. If I had to choose a printer I would probably look at an HP, Epson, or Canon.
