They told me nothing in my vagina 24hrs before the exam as it "could effect it". However, I'm on NuvaRing and am right in the middle of an "in" week. Is it going to be a problem for my pap smear that I have my Ring in? (I would take it out for the exam, of course.)
I've already had to reschedule once because I was on my period last week.

Good advice, ladies. I was planning to call anyway but was just hoping someone who had gone through it would know.
I just called and asked (after sitting on hold for 20 minutes) and they confirmed that it was okay.

ALL YOU CAN DO IS CALL AND ASK ,I DONT THINK SO THO ,ALL THERE GOING TO DO IS TAKE A SWAB OF YOUR DISCHARGE ,I REALLY DONT THINK THAT SHOULD MATTER,ULL BE FINE
