I'm a teacher trying to get some students up to date on current events from around the world. Does anyone know where summaries can be found? It's hard for them to jump into an event that has been ongoing and the news doesn't explain earlier events.

Hello there,

You may give a look to http://news.bbc.co.uk/

It is usually serious, well documented and balanced. I do not know if this is what you had in mind... Hope it helps

I would recommend two websites. (They may go into more detail than you really need though.)

www.strategypage.com
www.globalsecurity.org
