The problem is that an application for example Internet explorer hangs after some time...When the problem application appears(the one which asks if u want to send the problem to microsoft or not,it recommends to upgrade to Service Pack 2,I am on serive pack one)there is no virus,adware etc...What could be the problem?...(i also have Nvidias 7300 gs 512 g4 bit card)

I suggest upgrading to SP2, it does fix a bunch of problems with Windows XP.

Update the winxp with the latest patches with the lates drives it will solve you problem and even u upgrade the mother board bios also.

You should upgrade your computer with windowsXP to service pack 2, because it contians alot of software patches and fixes many bugs and problems.
