I was plannin' to propose the guy I love for marriage. My plan was to take him on a dinner in water garden ... and propose him with a ring. But now my friends are saying ... it's not appropriate for a girl to propose ... and more inappropriate with a ring. What should I do? Should I change my plan?
There's no doubt about his saying yes. We love each other and he's the one who proposed me first ... but I was the one who took more time. So he's kinda waiting for an answer. I just wanted to make sure it doesn't look too ostentatious. Does it?

If he already proposed to you, I'd just do it. Instead of proposing to him, you could just say yes. But make it dramatic. So yes, get the ring and all....Water garden is a good idea...You're all set. It sounds like you guys love each other a lot :D

I think it's a good idea to take him out for a romantic dinner, but don't use a ring- that's too feminine. Maybe you could work something out with the resaurant and they could make a dessert that said 'YES' or something. (since he already proposed to you) or you could give him a card at dinner that says you are ready to move on to the next level of your relationship.

I would do it if I were you. I think it's just as romantic when a woman loves a man enough to propose to him. You have just given me a thought, I was waiting to be proposed to, now, I think I'll do the proposing!

If he proposed to you before and was waiting on your answer, I think this is a very sexy and nice idea on your part. In general its not recommended that a girl propose, but like I said your case is different...
