Our voice is sometimes sent throught MySpace, through songs, through MTV ... but is it really reaching it's goal?
Are we reaching the kind of audience we would like that hears what we have to say?

You said what I was thinking exactly. We have all these places to voice our opinions, but it's not like Congress hops on Myspace to check things out and we know they certainly are not watching MTV. It's that ongoing battle between the younger generation being oppressed by the same politicians who say we need to get involved.

...huh....what was that??!...you know...the mediums that you mentioned in your question (?) are only really the youth audience...there aren't a lot of "older folks" that get on MySpace, listen to the kind of music you do, or watch MTV...so the message is really only being shared (whatever that message is) with others that have the same viewpoint....so, is it getting out? Yeah, it does in the commercial consumer markets (because there is huge buying power in the youth) - look at fashion....yeah, it does seem to be "creeping" into the mainstream...the problem is that (and it isn't really a problem) there is no single "voice of youth"...there is a lot of diversity in what youth have to say...and a lot of value...it is influential....but due to the diversity of the message, only minor impacts will be seen in the mainstream....wow...much to philisophical for me...
