You can change alot of things but one thing you can't is what you've already said. I know from experience that you don't criticize someone else's child too much, that's a VERY touchy subject. My children both had stepdads and that's one thing that I would never put up with outside of impartial discipline. What you say is like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube, you can't put either one of them back!!

I'm sorry to hear that, divorce can be very painful.
Since you referred to your "step-daughter", I'm assuming that your wife was married before. Without knowing her "history" and any other details of your relationship, it's difficult to speculate as to your situation.
Your wife may have "issues" from previous relationships that made her unable to deal with your anger. Whether or not she "used" you, only she knows. She may genuinely have loved you but found it impossible to live with you. Sadly, if she wasn't willing to work on your problems, there's isn't much you can do.
Recognizing your feelings and learning how to deal with them is essential for your well-being. If you need to seek professional help with this, please do so. If nothing else, a counselor can help you identify your issues and help you work through them.
I wish you all the best.

The feelings will never go away!!! Sad to say he was your first love, which makes him and the relationship you had significate! As far as not moving on well its time make your self happy look at it like at least you got to love that way and at least you got to know what loves all about. So just say to yourself I love him and always will, that he will always have a place in your heart and then tell yourself that its time to experience something new . A new kind of love like a more mature one. Trust me I know its hard in the end it will be worth it

What were you yelling and cussing about? That's not a good way to be, but I'd be interested in know the rest of this story when you get over kicking yourself in public.

you know the saying "you dont know what you got till its gone" well listen- you took your ex 4 granted & her daughter you have to treat the daughter almost better than the mom because the mom always looks at how you treat her daughter to see what kind of person you really are. remember that in further relationships.

It sure is. No one ever promised life would be easy. If you're willing to experience the good, sometimes you have to accept the bad.
Welcome to humanity It just happens to be your time to suffer. It'll end if you let it and move on.

Seems to me theirs more to it than what you are saying. I can't imagine someone going through with a divorce over one spat. Add more details and you may get better answers.

move on! Find someone else. It sounds like she don't want you and maybe you jumped into a marriage too soon.
