when she started the catalogue 15 years ago she was supposed to get customers, she has done this now they have cghanged this to not having customers without informing her, ie in the contract small print, we can change the contract terms and conditions at any time, surely you are supposed to inform people of these changes,

From what you have said
You have a contract with the company
They do not allow you to have sub contracts
Any debts are between you and the company
If that is the case, you are responsible. You have to settle and then recover the debt, plus any extra costs you have reasonably incurred, through the Small Claims Court. The staff at the Civil Court will give you advice. You can also get advice on the contract from the CAB.

I have catalogues and I brought one into to work, just for me to look at as it is my name on the credit agreement. The girls at work said 'Oh, can you order this for me?' I said 'Yeah, give me the money in full, then I will either order it for you or I will keep it in my house until you pay for it in full'
One girl wanted me to max out the credit limit on my account so I could order things for her. What about me??? I earned the catalogue with my good rating!
I told her that items go missing when they are delivered to me, lucky escape as this girl always maons that she has no money when she smokes weed and drinks every weekend!
Basically, what your partner should have done was what I would have done, don't do favours for people, especially where money is involved. What I think your partner was trying to do what get commision on the value of goods that this man has ordered.
Your partner is responsible as it is her name on the credit aggreement, just like a credit card, if you used her card, she would be repsonsible, you could do her a favour by paying what you used, but ultimately, it is up to her.

This is a duplicate Question ...
Same answer - she purchased from Catalogue and paid catalogue. If she gave the goods to some-one else WITHOUT getting the money at the same time, it's her problem.
All Catalogues I am aware of operate on a "if the Customer doesn't pay, then YOU RETURN the goods" basis.

with my friend she didn't pay for the shoes she ordered, and all i said was that she ordered and she wont pay can you star
t sending her her own invoices.
ask like ya know what ya talking about they will listen better.
you will need the customers name address and postcode.
tell them you want it doing because you dint want her messing you account up.
does the catalogue know ya using it for customers as well as ure self because you should have customer cards for payments if the catalogue know you have customers
ask about them if you havent

As long as your friend has a payment card, an official great universal one, then it is up to them to collect the debt of her.
If they don't have one then I suggest you speak to CAB and ask them to intervene for you . Sometimes it just takes an official body to get them to be sensible.

It all comes down to contract. Your friend has a contract with GUS and another with her customer. There is no contractual nexus between GUS and your friend's customer, therefore GUS have nothing to enforce against them. Sorry

If she wasn't supposed to have other clients, then she's in trouble unless she pays.
