A calendar is one of the worst forms of contraception, second only to the withdrawal method. Sperm can survive in the vagina for up to a week, so it is possible to get pregnant from sex at ANY TIME of the month. And a single drop of prec*m can contain over 100,000 sperm, semen contains millions, and all it takes is one.
If it is less than 72 hours since you had sex, you still have time to get the morning after pill.

Oh, please, please find another method of birth control. I got pregnant using the "withdrawal method" and even thought I was being extra careful because I abstained from sex while I was ovulating (aka the calendar method). The truth is, it's easy to get pregnant this way because you may have sperm living in you for up to five days and there is sperm in "pre-come". If you ovulate a day or two off schedule (which is common) you may easily lose track of when you can or cannot get pregnant. It's estimated that over 80% of women will get pregnant like this within one year. There are so many effective and easy to handle methods of birth control, please use them...try going to a neighborhood Planned Parenthood...you may not even have to pay for it.

anything is possible, if you don't know how it works, maybe you should read the instructions before you use it.
