I would take care of it and try to find out who it belonged to and put a picture of it in the local paper to see if any one claimed it and then if they did not I would probably try to give him to a good home.

Being a loyal K-9 handler, I would do what ever I can to assist it and give it food and water, and I would then transport the dog to a humane society, and hopefully they can find it a home, but only if the dog seems to thave the ability to be a good pet for someone, but if the dog is too far gone and could pose a danger to a family, then I would transport it to a pound and let them make the determination. I have working K-9's and could not keep the dog myself. But I always try and help stray and hurt and even lost dogs.

Bring the dog in the house and give it some food, then try to figure out who the dog belonged to.I feed every stray that comes around my house.

I would run it out of my yard...I know i used to be the good guy with these situations but when we helped this little dog get back on his feet....he wouldnt go away....he ended up costing us 1200 bucks because he dug a hole that let our rottweiler that never tries to escape out and our dog ended up killing this poodle so we were fined.....so for now on any stray dog will either go away or die trying to stay..

Call a dog catcher...and then put out a bowl of dog food for him (I have a dog so I already have dog food). No animal should starve.

feed him,i have rescued many animals ,i have had people drop off pets in my yard and abandon them.i am a big animal lover so that wouldn't bother me to help the dog at all.

Id chase him off. Looks are deceiving. You dont know if he really is just gonna squat and pinch one off on your yard.
