my friend toria is so into herself. every wednesday night she sleeps over because we carpool in the morning and all night she just poses in the mirror and talks to boys on her cell phone. she isnt fun anymore and is just way too caught up in herself. what should i do?

Sounds like she is using the spend over just for a purpose, not to really visit so she thinks of things to do herself...you must do the same. Or go out and leave her all together...
That will make her feel how you feel.

Tell her that next week you can't carpool together and that Wednesday night you have plans. Go see a movie with a friend, have dinner with the family, anything. Keep it up for a couple weeks. It sounds like she has super low self-esteem and that kind of person will drag you down.
If she's a good friend, she'll come around. If not, you probably didn't need her that much anyway. I usually say to myself, 'would I be friends with you in 5 years?' and that determines it.

Depends on how long you've been friends with her and what her friendship means to you. If it makes you uncomfortable, and like you said your not having fun anymore, then either tell her that it's bothering you, or slowly get yourself out of the situation. No reason to be in a friendship if all she cares about is herself. Good luck.

well that sounds like she thinks she is so popular what u need 2 do is act just like her give her a taste of her own medicine or talk 2 her and if she dont listen i guess u say i dont want 2 b ur friend anymore and hang out with someone else

tell her she should be a model. help her set up a photo shoot with a pro photographer and submit photos to a real model agency. only about 1% of girls who try modeling are successful so maybe if she gets lots of rejections from the 'pretty people' she will reaize she aint all that. lol

This is common to teens.She is still discovering her identity and who she really is.In time you would understand her, just ignore her and do not make negative comments because she might percieve that you are jealous.

Since she pretty much ignores you when she spends the night, find something else to do while she is there that doesn't include her.
