More than one but one that sticks out is when I was ironing a shirt and a huge crack of thunder rang out......the loudest noise I have heard in my life......my first reaction was to dive under the ironing board.....as if that would have helped !! Good job the lightning struck a few streets away ;o)
Makes me smile everytime I think about it....thanks for reminding me as I feel happier now !

I was a novice at roller-blading, and as I was descending down a steep hill I thought I could just roll gently onto the grass to stop myself. NOT!
I touched the grass, went flying, and after 3 hard belly flops to the ground, I noticed that I had a long grass stain from the collar of my shirt all the way to the bottom of my jeans. I even had grass in my teeth!
Every one that was there was laughing, even me. Good stuff.

Yes! I tried to get into a Red Ka after swimming, where I left my car...or so I thought. My car was a few spaces up! Mortifying, trying to break into other peoples cars. Not good. What would I have done if the owner came out.
I laughed hard when I got in my own car.

Of course! You have to be able to laugh at yourself. I walked into work with a curler in my bangs. No one told me for an hour. At first I was like, hey! Why didn't you tell me?! But then I just laughed at my own dorkiness. Same thing when I hit myself in the head as I was closing the car door. Dork. That's me!

Yes! I once tripped up at work, and fell in a bin! At the actual time it happened I was in pain, but about 5 minutes after I was absolutely wetting myself. It still makes me laugh now.

Yes, I always giggle about this one.... Years ago at school I nicked my mates pen and told him the school nerd did it. Man, my mate really did beat that kid to a pulp. Hearing the nerds protests of innocence made it all the more funny. I couldn't keep a straight face then or now. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

OK, here's a favorite. As a new bride wanting to please her husband, we visited Philadelphia's Italian market to purchase fresh meat. I decided to purchase short ribs and chicken wings for a impromptu barbeque. (apologies to vegans here)
I knew there was a lot to see and we had limited time to see it. Excitedly, I rushed into the store and ordered, "...chicken ribs and short wings, please."
Everyone in the store laughed. To this day, I'm still gigling over that faux pas. (lol)
