I do not recommend it. Though a trained parent could teach at the elementary level....when middle school hits the subjects become specialized.....especially in high school there will be problems because the parent will not know that advanced stuff in all subjects. How will the parent know how to teach a foreign language, advanced math, college bound english, physics, chemistry, history, etc. students need certain amounts of english, science, math, foreign language, and fine arts to go to college
