I'd really try and get into full pharmacy school. It's an ok job, but you take a lot of crap. Not really worth the money. You do a lot of the tedious work in pharmacies like counting pills, dealing with some insurance issues, etc. None of the fun stuff like counseling patients.

I have been a tech for 12 years. It all depends on what state you live in. Check the pharmacy board regulations in your state. If they mandate technician certification (or will in the near future) you have a promising career in front of you.

No. I've never heard of a pharmacy tech making more than $15 per hour, and that is with a lot of experience. There is no room for promotions.

You should be a pharmacist instead - they make a lot of money.
