What are some uses of a magnet in every day life that you normally don't know that you are using one. Ex. sA lot of people don't know that a TV uses magnets but they use it every day.

Magnetic levitating trains, EMP weapons, posting things on the fridge, various experiments, magic tricks, utilized on some bracelets for improved health, compasses, keeping Earth protected from harmful radiation, speakers, computers, generating electricity, picking up metallic objects, and various other cool things

Magnets are used in electricity generators so every time some one turns on the electricity they are using a magnet.

The Macintosh Laptops have a special magnetic feature to the charger, so the cord will just pop out of your computer if somebody steps on it while you're charging, that way it wont bring the computer down with it. It works too, and comes out with the slightest tug.
