Great choice but you are looking to go in peak season and stay in a 4* hotel. Cyprus is not the cheapest of Islands so you may struggle with your budget a little unless you are talking of £700 each then you will have MORE than enough.

Try these sites for accommodation

Holidaybrokers
Hotels4u
Medhotels
Getabed
lowcostbeds

and try www.skyscanner.net for the flights

Paphos is beautiful I was there in September, you will find it hard to get Budget Accomdation in Paphos we stayed in a place called the Paphos Gardens hotel & resort, we stayed in self catering apartments in the resort and it cost us €750 euro each so that would be £1100 each pricey and they were nothing special we were about a five minute walk from the main centre of town, our friends stayed in a place called the Pandream apartments and they were about a 10-15 minute walk and they were much cheaper, be careful alot of hotels are really far away from the centre, they are reasonably priced but they are a good distance away from everything. The place is really nice, food is lovely, people are really nice and you can have either a quiet night or you can party all night long it caters for both types

Hiya, great choice, I love Cyprus, especially Paphos. We stayed there last year at the Cristallo Apartments with Thomson. It was quite basic self catering, but clean, quiet and close to all amenities with a pool. It cost us only about £380 each for 2 weeks inclusive of flights.

However, this year we have considered renting a villa as they are quite reasonable and it is like having your own house and pool for a week/2 weeks. I cannot get links to the sites I was looking at as my computer is playing up at the moment, but if you type holiday villas in paphos into Google you will get loads.

I hope this helps. Have a fab holiday :-)

I once lived in Cyprus for 2 years (my dad was posted there with the RAF) and I remember Paphos being a really good place. I was only 11 at the time (38 now) but I still remember it clearly. I expect it's changed now though. One thing I won't forget is the sea, it was fantastic, apart from the dead hedgehog floating in it one time. It was a very hot sunny time so I would recommend going with the highest SPF lotion you can find. Have a nice holiday.

Hi cyprus is really expensive me and my partner and children went 2 years back to protaras. Gorgeous beaches and lovely county. I think protaras is a lot better than paphos mind. We rang Holidays direct They do good deals.
