if you want the truth instead of being stroked, then Fox News is the place.

They are horrible anyone that says they are fair and balanced. Are the right wing conservatives haha hmm I wonder why that is. I watch the colbert report and laugh my *** off but never thought Fox News was actually that bad. But now after watching it wow was I wrong. I think the people that watch Fox would agree with this quote.

"And everyone knows reality clearly has a liberal bias"- Stephen Colbert

I usually just watch the direct sources such as CSPAN to get my news. Almost all the news programs are completely dertermined by there ratings and not the actual content. Turn on the tv right now and I'll bet youll see something about Anna Nicole Smith. A stupid whore with a worthless existence. But of course it's more important then say a war right?

The mere fact that Fox News is leading 'news channel' in the US proves the total deficiency in education in the US.
Which sane person really believes the cr*p that people like O'Reilly, Hannity and Shep Smith spew forth?
And then they have Ann Coulter on at least once a week?
And Fred Barnes every day?
No wonder the rest of the world think most Americans are stupid and ignorant adolescents.

Lets put it this way, if you watch the others, cnn, nbc etc. You see people with the same view on an issue, the networks view is instilled in your mind. Fox gives you people with two different opinions and gives the viewer credit for being intelligent enough to make a decision within their own mind of where they stand. Liberals blast the network because they simply don't want the whole story told, just their view.

I like most of the Fox News shows, except for O'Reilly. Hannity and Colmes is pretty good. I agree with theearlybirdy, C-Span is the one-stop only place to go for real politics news. It makes a huge difference to see a 2 hour senate meeting and how it unfolds, rather than watch 5 second sound bytes on FN or CNN...

I think it is fine. I watch CNN and FOX and others. It is not so much that FOX is right wing as the others are anti-American. CNN constantly is bashing the govt. Ted Turner is who I think of when thinking of the architect behind CNN and he is very anti-American. I think he is still upset about the civil war from 150 years ago. He has always fantacized about the movie Gone With the Wind. A real goofy guy.

It's fine. A little too much commentary, but it's fine.

As long as you can separate the commentary from the news, it is just as balanced as CNN or MSNBC.

I'd suggest just watching C-SPAN and reading around on the Internets if you want the real news.

They are what they are. Watch them, then watch one of the networks or CNN. The actual truth will be somewhere in between.

Any news channel that has to have a fake American flag waving continuously in the background is not a news channel but a public relations service.
