I just started them again after 18 years lol and they used to make me sick then. The doc told me that birth control has come a long way since then but they are doing the same thing to me. Any ideas why?

Whenever you start a new medication, the side effects are going to affect you be it nausea or headaches or stomach cramps, etc. All my friends and co-workers are on the pill and they all say that the pill made them feel sick when they first started it. I have yet to be on it but I know what it will do to me. Don't worry, give it some time to be in your system and then it will regulate.

Birth control makes me so sick and nauseous...I had to stop taking them! That was only 2 years ago! You can ask for higher hormone level and see if that helps but I doubt it.

That only lasts for six months while your body gets used to the pill.

To help alleviate the nausea, take the pill with a glass of milk.

your hormones were altered.

quick changes happen inside your system. ITs coping.
I did feel the same way too on my first weeks.

would you like to check on the internet the effects? just type the brand of your contraceptive. I AM sure it is explained there.

:)

I can only think that you didn't change enough diapers or get projectile vomited on enough to make nausea seem like a little irrelevance, or you had the perfect kind of kids my wife expected!
