The Giggs goal was fair, the referee backed away and that was a signal that the play could resume.

I think Lille should be ashamed. But the bigger thing I am angry about was how manchester United supporters were treated. Lille kept some fans outside, may have screwed up the seating arrangements, and then the actions of the police were not any better.

Lille deserve to be out of the Champions League.

If they were losing to the Germans, theyd have ran off crying straight after the goal, theyve got no bottle. Wimps. United didnt play particularly well, Ronaldo was non existant, but full marks to Giggs, he didnt do anything illegal. Now then, If Terry Henry, that Arsenal/France chappie had done it, the frogs would have been cheering. Come on u reds, buck up at OT or we'll have had another poor season in Europe.

I think the French can take losing - that's what they're good at. I think the 'walk off' protest has taken so many by surprise for that very reason - why protest now after so many years of failure?

Don't think all the players were French, it's just a case of bad advice from their coaching team.
Still, well done United Giggs and Larsson especially.

It all boils down to the allied forces saving their skins during the War! If they had only got stuck in with the rest, they would be a different nation now.
