Most favourite:- 'We played to our strengths' - 'Certainly the weather didn't help' - 'The fans have been fabulous' - 'We've had a few injuries' - 'The boy .....done good' - 'When the ball hit the back of the net I was over the moon'
Worst 'He was running into space' - 'At the end of the day it wasn't our day' - 'They're a bit tired after playing twice this week' - 'I'll be looking for a result next week' - 'It was a terrible decision and one that cost us the game' - After losing 5-0 ' I thought we played well but were a bit unlucky in the second half' - 'I couldn't ask any more of the lads, they done ever so well' etc etc.

I agree with all of the below but I also hate it when you're watching some obscure game on Ch5 like Charlton vs Lokomotiv Fastskii or whatever from deepest darkest Ukraine & the commentator quips
"And there's 9,000 Fastskii fans here and that's quite impressive when you consider that a ticket costs the equivalent of 9 years wages!"
