If the proposed new road charges come in,to reduce congestion,and we still have road congestion,will we still have to pay for our miles?or will the government stop charging and think of something else?I admit to be wrily smiling as I write this!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are the proposed road changes and how exactly are you charged per mile? It might help if you stated where you live.

Edit:

Where I live (Virginia, USA), we do not have to pay by the mile for road use. There are no new charges.
