New York Governor Eliot Spitzer and New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine recently gave the OK to build the Freedom Tower where the WTC twin towers once stood. I personally hate the Freedom Tower and would rather see the twin towers rebuilt.

The Freedom Tower is a nice memorial to all that perished in the attacks.

That said, the best thing to do would have been to rebuild the new towers exactly as(or structurally better than) the old towers were. That would be the best way to honor those lost in the attacks, as well as saying to these Al-Quaeda bastards: "**** YOU! "

When I see old photos or old TV shows with the towers, I couldn't help but thinking they looked out of place, as if they didn't belong there. People from all over N America and beyond died in those towers. I believe their loss should be visually remembered. U.S. agencies and government ignored clear warnings of this impending disaster and need to erect a memorial as an apology to the loved ones left behind.

I wish they just change the name. Freedom Tower sounds so corny.
