I didn't get it. Remember Simon got all grumpy when he was talking to Chris Sleigh and Ryan Seacrest after Chris' performance?
Was he angry at Chris for slagging the Teletubbies and IlDivo that Simon produced or was he angry at Ryan for something else???

I totally think that he was upset about Chris' comments about the teletubbies/illdivo. I was hysterical when he said it, and laughed even harder when Simon acted upset about it.

If he can't take it then he shouldn't dish it out!

Simon produced teletubbies christmas show and an act something diva. I think Simon was uncomfortable becase they are all rumored to be gay and Simon apparently has a taste for gay acts. Ryan then added the don't call me sweetheart thing. simon said he was essentially mad at Ryan who made him uncomfortable and also pointed out it was an insult.

I am not certain that Chris meant it that way..he was more saying just I am am not someone who you pick/like/produce does not mean I can't sing and the audience liked me.

Simon is rumored to be gay..remember that one contestent years ago who during Hollywood week got mad at Simons comments and said something about the rumors he was gay were true and OPaula got upset and rushed to simon's defense. If Simon is not gay, I suppose it could be a sore spot for him.

I think he was more upset with Ryan Seacrest for making a bid deal out of Simon calling him sweetheart. Only because there was discussion in the tabloids about them seeming to have a "close" relationship several seasons ago.

I know!! I think he took the remark about the Teletubbies/Il Divo think waaaay too seriously. As someone already said if you dish it out be prepared to take it! I would have voted for Chris Sleigh just for that. ha!!

I think it was the Il Divo/Teletubbies thing. I think that comment cut a bit deep and he didn't know how to come back. I don't think Chris meant to throw such a harsh blow but it was.

Probably at Ryan since he annoys not only Simon but everyone else. They just don't get along very well.

Simon doesn't need a reason to get upset with someone. That's what Simon is all about. He is very judgemental & is very sarcastic & critical in his judging . What I've seen, Simon is very biased.
