It smells like burnt oil.I noticed as I turned on the heater and got a wiff.I know my explorer burns oil fast,but the thing is I just got a tune-up,new fuel filter,and an engine flush what could it be now?

This could be the simple fact that during the tuneup some oil spilled on the exhaust manifold and is burning off. Go back to the mechanic if it doesn't disappear soon and have it checked. Good Luck!!!

You have an oil leak someplace Most likely a valve cover gasket leaking Or possibly spilled oil on an exhaust manifold the last time you added oil

None of the things you did will stop the oil burning you are experienced, because none of the things you got done will have a thing to do with your worn rings.

Confirm my diagnosis by having a compression test done, then fix the problem, or if it's not worth fixing put it out of its misery.

if you just got a tune up maybe they spilled a little fluid / oil on the
exhaust or other hot part of the engine and it is burning off.
