I was an exchange student in a small town in Ireland. By the end of my stay I had turned into like a local celebrity or something because the Irish people showed me mad love and seemed fascinated by my culture. I left with a Shamrock Tatoo on my hip!

I've heard from a couple of guys that when they were in Ireland that guys in the pubs would want to fight when they heard their American accents. They may have just been in a rough part of town though. But the one guy said it was like that all over and he'd never go back.

I like Americans (well the decent ones) but there is a bit of negativity in that direction these days.

Considering that my great grandfather and grandmother were Irish and came in at Annapolis to make their lives here, I would say they are appreciative of the opportunites that were afforded to them when they arrived.

I don't know. But Irish and Mexican are the same thing. We both have alot of kids, and we drink alot and were always getting into fights,
