does anyone know anything about the urban legend of bloody mary and is it really true? was she actually a person that lived on earth, what was the real story?

There was a real person who was called Bloody Mary, but she has nothing to do with the urban legend involving girls and mirrors. (I assume that's what you were talking about, right? The legend that a girl who stands in front of a mirror with a lighted candle and says "Bloody Mary!" three times can summon the vengeful spirit of a woman named Mary who will attempt to reach out through the mirror and scratch her eyes out/drag her through/drive her insane, etc?) Anyway, the real person called Bloody Mary was Queen Mary I of England. She had a lot of protestants killed so they called her "Bloody Mary." Again, she has nothing to do with the mirror witch. Just the same nickname:)

By the way, I've stood in front of the mirror and said Bloody Mary three times and all I ever saw was my own face. So it's not true.
