Well my son is 16 and is being really good this year. He has been a great help to me. The only thing he seems to have been wanting for a while is the Sidekick 3. Well should I get him one? Are they really nice or is it a fad? He does text message a lot and he has been asking for it for 2 years but I don't know. I went into the T-Mobile store with him and it did look cool. I'm still not sure if I should get it though. What do you guy think?

The only job around here that are for 16 year olds is McDonald's so him getting a job isn't going to happen right now. He is going to wait until he is 17 so he can work in retail. Anyway by this year I meant for awhile. He has been good this year and last. Sorry for the confusion.

Also he will be getting it with some of my tax return money so it's no big deal money wise.

He's been good this year? The year just started up. If he wants that sidekick and he's 16 than why can't he go work for it. Also why ask us our opinion when in the end its up to you.. You are the parent and who knows better than mom and dad.

If he wants it tell him to get a job and buy it himself. He would enjoy it more and hes old enough to get a job anyway.
