I think they will end up keeping him cuz he is the face of New Jersey and he wants to stay in New Jersey. Trust me Ive been living in Jersey my whole life and whenever someone says NEw Jersey all you think about is Jason Kidd. Plus the Nets still have a very good chance of making the playoffs because of the weak eastern conference.

Kidd is not willing to play another year for the Nets for sure. There are a lot of teams that are interested in Kidd ex LA Lakers .The most recent candidate is Golden State Warriors but I Don't think that Jason will decide to play in this team.

Most probably Los Angeles Lakers, cos Phil Jackson will badly want at least a deep run in the Playoffs for this season, and Kidd combined with Kobe will definitely have the experience to do so.
In addition, Marcus Williams looks like the point guard of the future.

More than likely the Lakers, if New Jersey really sets to trade him. However, they want Andrew Bynum, and the Lakers have no reason or thinking quality to get rid of the kid, so why would they for Kidd, who is 33, only has a few good years left in him? While Bynum is only 19 and has 15-16 more until he's 34-45?

It is a possibility that he will be trade to the Los Angeles Lakers. The lakers are willing to trade anyone other than Kobe, Odom, or the talented young Bynum, which is who the nets would like to get. It all comes down to if they can get a deal that both sides agree on.

No deal will happen. If the Nets trade their franchise player away they might as well wave the white flag and call it a season.
