Hmm, maybe digital watches are a bit passé (I had a digital watch when I was little cause I couldn't tell time on an analogue) but your cell isn't as handy as your wrist watch. You can't keep a cell on you if you're writing a test or something, and lots of fashion designers make watches like Paul Frank.

To each his own, some people consider them jewelry. Soon we will leave the house with nothing but a cell phone. They will electronically contain all of our ID, medical records, credit cards, debit cards, car key codes, house key codes, and anything else we currently put in our pockets. They will operate vending machines instead of coins. They will probably become an item we wear on our wrist or around our neck because they will be so small.

Cell phones have tended to take over from watches, and sales are down. As to whether digital watches are geeky, I don't particularly care; I have worn one for years because it keeps time roughly a hundred times better than the best mechanical watch. (On a geekiness scale, I am probably fairly high.)

I read somewhere that watch sales are decreasing because of cell phones, however, I wear one because it's easier to look at my wrist than it is to dig my cell out of my pocket to see what time it is...As far as geeky goes, I couldn't give a flying fat babies as*

i had a digital watch, but it didnt last that long and i didnt want to buy a battery. i had a watch that had a huge face, and then i lost it. i always promised to buy another one but dont really have the time (no pun intended). it is much better then the cell phone cause you can do a quick glance. i think i will buy one today!

Wearing a watch is a sign of class and dignity. It is a reminder to use our time wisely. Look at all the successful people in this world...they wear watches.
Young people have a lot to learn.

No Digital Watches allowed. The other day i saw an old guy with one of those calculator watches. Needless to say, everyone looked at him like he was crazy as he used it. I think that the only time its ok is when your jogging, to keep a log of your running times.
But if you like it, wear it. and dont concern yourself with what others think.

You worry too much about what others think, a sure sign of being too young. Be yourself, wear a watch or not and try to not follow the crowd too much.
