you can try investing in currency trading. You can really make good money provided you know which currency to buy and when to sell.

You could buy a shredder that makes really small square cuts and run your $4,000 through it as one dollar bills to create over one million squares, but I believe that that is illegal.

In order to earn one million dollars from $4,000, you need an APR averaging greater than 25,000% (250 times), in order to offset the loss of approx. 2.5% depreciation by deflation and the approximately 50% [not sure about this figure, but it is very high] cut from capital gains taxes.

Your best chances involve extremely high risk activities (where you stand a good chance of losing everything), including the black market, crime, insider trading (all illegal activities worthy of substantial jail time) and leveraging in the commodities market.

Or if you have a really brilliant and highly desirable/needed idea/talent, then you could create a prototype/audition, and then test/refine, patent/copyright, and sell it with large royalties, but here the $4,000 is only an investment in million dollar ideas/talents.

I don't know, but as soon as you find out let me know. Then, in second thought, may be if you use the $4000 into a book that you write and are smart enough to get people buying under the impression that they will make 1M in one year. People won't but you might

Invest it in Balarus Rubles. At the current exchange rate of 2,145 rubles per dollar, you'd be able to get about 8.5 million rubles for your $4000 -- a multi-millionaire!

Investing is the way to do it, by parlaying your money, but many have tried this and wound up broke. You have to decide if this is an acceptable risk for you.

Your best shot would be to buy 4000 lottery tickets for 1 drawing.

Good luck !!!

If I knew a way to do it which actually worked, why would I tell people about it? It would devalue my income.

You need at least $25,000.00 to get those kinds of returns and at least two years.

Your goals are unrealistic.
