what does the us want to accomplish in iraq? are we trying to establish an american goverment there? how are we helping iraq people? i know that we took down sadam so that helped them to escape a evil leader. but once the us gets out of iraq won't they start up their civil war once we leave? and won't another evil leader take sadams place?

As I view some of the answers that u received I wonder why people don't attempt to inform instead of dissing you for asking. There are no dumb questions... only dumb answers. Some may feel that I have proved that right here..heh heh heh. Why did the U.S. go there in the 1st place? SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! It certainly wasn't to eradicate Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Some news stories I see you are missing.
Building schools, rebuilding Iraq infrastructure that was in a very bad decay, etc.
They have establish their own government with 3 free elections and women have the right to vote.
Maybe you should read some other news stories besides what is being put out by one side and consider there is more than going on.

we are there, because the top people in the US govt, including bush and cheney own stock in United Defense. they make our fighting vehicles. they finally came up with the bogus excuse of weapons of mass destruction, and they tricked the hook-line-and-sinker mid-american republicans and democrats, convincing them that iraq and saddam were involved in 911[they were saudi] . hence, american support for the war. but now, more and more people realize it was stupid for bush to invade iraq. also, the saudis [who have almost a trillion dollars in our banks] wanted us to invade iraq. we have to do what the saudis say, because if they pull their money out of our banks, our economy will collapse.

Leave them all too it, let them all fight amongst themselves,.. the USA is too busy trying to right 'wrongs',.. and is an interfering, nosey, goody-goody-two-sh*ts that shouldn't get involved in other countries' affairs. Best to leave them too it,.. that way they'd not have become even more unpopular than they were before.
