Oh, and here I thought you meant Marvel’s version of Mr. Hyde. Never mind, Thing takes either of them. Heck, Thing could take BOTH of them together!

I'm pretty sure he's talking about the movie version of the Thing versus Mr. Hyde. The Thing in the FF movie doesn't look like he could lift 80 tons like his comic book version but still, he should have no problem beating up on Mr. Hyde. BTW, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen was one of the best comic book movies EVAR though many would disagree...

It was actually the Hulk holding up the mountain during the Secret Wars :) I think on a good day the Thing can lift ~80-85 tons. I think Hyde is more of a light weight like Spider-Man, in the 10-15 ton range. Thing has built in armor and years more experience of clobberin' time. Thing wins this in two punches.
