Get firefox if you dont want to use IE (it's free to download). You want goggle but with yahoo homepage? Google is a service not a software, but you can still set yahoo as your homepage on firefox and get a google toolbar

IE is a browser.
Google and yahoo are search engines that are accessed through web pages.
They are completely separate things, and your question is like asking, "I don't want to drive a Chevy any more, but I want to stay on paved roads". One has nothing to do with the other, and you can do both, or neither.

I don't like Firefox because being a Mac guy, I love Safari.
Firefox is really good on a PC, you can set your own homepage, and Google is a webpage you can access on a web browser.
