My son brought my husband one off of eBay, we just put the signed shirt in a large frame with glass inside, and it looks good.
eBay also sell signed photos as well.
Make sure it comes with a certificate of authenticy.
As you would like his name on it you could personlise the frame.

EBay is your best bet.
But if it is a local team, you might be able to contact the team somehow and explain the situation. They might help you.
I helped a friend get the autographs of the local CFL team for her husband. I happened to know someone who interviews the players and he asked them. They were very happy to do it.

Ask your club of choice nicely. I got a signed birthday card (courtesy a friend) for my 40th birthday from Derby County.
