I have only had my period for a little over a year and I am still not regulated. So this month I got my period but it wasn't heavy from the start but it was there. Is that normal?

Don't worry it is very normal !
Count your lucky stars that your periods are light.

Depending on how old you are, if it really bothers you
go see a doctor and start taking the pill. That will
definitely regulate your periods.

It's very normal. You have to remember that every woman and girl's body is different and will behave different. As long as you get your period then everything is fine. I'm 26 years old, and I started my period at the age of 12. My period is always on it's own schedule. It comes on different days every month. I also have a heavy period, but the reason I think I do is because I only stay on for three days. I have never stayed on my period past three days. It's been this way since I first got it. Some women stay on for 5 or 7 days. It's just depending on the person. Just remember that as long as you see it every month then that's the only thing that's important.

it can take YEARS to get regulated if it happens at all. in my teens it was always erratic, even now it can be off by a couple of days and the flow can be heavier one month and lighter the next. don't worry.

Perfectly normal. It can take a few years to settle down. I the meantime, if your periods are light, thank your lucky stars!
