Someone ran into my car and then left. Its not too major but there is a noticeable dent....do i go to the dealer and see if a warranty will cover it, or call my insurance? Basically, is it worth me trying to get fixed or what?? Im so pissed off i wish i saw the person who did it.

there are dent specialists that can fix this cheap , check with your dealer or a big used car lot , they use these guys for stuff like this all the time , since it's a new car a paint match will be easy . i would pay cash for it , better deal and no insurance increase.

I'm sorry for your loss. Something similar happened to me a month after I bought my first car.

Depending on where you live, you may just want to let it be. More accidents may happen and bumpers will eventually get bumped again. If it isn't a major eye sore, I would just leave it alone.

If it is an eye sore, sometimes your insurance can cover it (with a deductible) without increasing your rates. I filed an insurance claim for my case, and it was considered a 'uninsured motorist' accident, because the guy who hit me just fled, and I couldn't get his insurance info. My insurance company (State Farm) paid for 1/2 and didn't raise my rates because it wasn't my fault.
