Its not okay. You know why? Becuause two people should start off from a same point. If he has a child already, he's way ahead of you!
Its like a horse race. (Everyone's start point is at the moment you decide to join your life with someone elses.) So there you are, at your start point, ready to find that special someone. Around you, you see many people going round and round the loop... going fast! Their speed lets you know they've been in the loop a while. As you turn to your right, a handsome man on his horse passes by.... on his next turn he grabs you from your shirt and pulls you.... he's going full speed..... you dont know what to do, what to expect.... He's dragging you!..... You weren't given the chance to start at your pace...... THis is not fair.
Why not start your race with someone at your side.... at your same pace....learning the path together.... understading eachother.
Accepting a person with this kind of past is accepting all his problems he's carrying with him. Every problem he has with the kid's mom will eventually touch you in one way or another....always...as long as you're with him.
Another thing.... THat kid will always be a connection between the kid and the kid's mother. You will have to deal with your guy seeing her, because of the kid.
Be wise.... look for some one who's willing to start fresh new with you..... Life is full of problems as it is.... why add more just because?

As long as he is not still in a relationship with the mother of his child, why not? How is that any different that having a relationship with a divorced man with children? Two adults who are not in a committed relationship with another are free to have relationships with whomever they please. Just be aware that, if he is a good father, that child will and should come first in all of his thoughts and actions.

I think so, but be prepared. Some times the mother of the child will be jealous or not want you around the child. Hopefully you will end up getting along with her if things between you and the guy get serious. Good luck.

yes its ok, but it depends on the guy. if hes young he may just want some 1 else to take care of the child. been there, done that and i had 2 of my own. he wanted me to take care of his kid while he played games on the pc. if the guy loves u and still takes on his own responsibility then its fine.
