She shouldn't get too frieked out...she was experimenting with someone she felt very comfortable with and someone with whom she has a connection. It does not mean she's a lesbian. She was curious and so was her friend. It doesn't have to mean any more than that. She should talk to her friend (the one she fooled around with) to make they are on the same page...

Young women often experiment with each other. This does not mean that she is changing. It could mean that she is changing and that she might have lesbian yearnings but it doesnt have to mean this. When I was young, it was quite common at sleepovers to fool around with each other. Very few of us chose a ga/lesbian lifestyle. Often when two girls experiment, they are just testing out their own sexuality and dont want to do this with a guy until they feel they have a little experience about what they want from a sexual relationship. Women trust each other so sexual touching is sometimes just practice. A woman doesnt or isnt ready yet to have sex with a man so she practices a bit with her friends. Nothing unusual. But dont discount that your friend may have a real interest in women. It happens. If this is the case, just accept your friend for who she is. Also, right now, it is very fashonable and" in "for a woman to be with a woman. The same criteria does not exist for men.

Well, she could be gay, or bi, or open to experimentation, or simply a little giddy that night, or easily led, or any number of other things. If she's continuing to think about her friend that way, it probably just means she enjoyed herself. No problem. Sexual orientation is only as big a deal as you make it. Relax, do what you want, and don't feel pressured to conform (or perform) according to anyone else's standards.

It sounds like your friend in experimenting. There's nothing wrong so don't be judgemental. I wouldn't give any advice but tell her that you still want to be her friend (if that is what you want).
