Yes, I first heard "Bonny Portmore" in the movie Highlander III (bit of a Highlander fan as well) - performed by Loreena McKennitt. The sort of song that can bring tears to your eyes. You'll probably enjoy her album, "The Visit", if you don't already own it.

Laura Creamer performed the song for the Highlander TV series.

"The Lonely Man", a piano piece by Joe Harnell also makes me cry... played during the closing credits of "The Incredible Hulk" TV series.
