My Pearl Gourami has got Cloudy Eye in one eye, well this what the aquarium place told me. They gave me some natural antibiotics to treat her with, it smells much like tea tree oil! i cant remember the name. I have put her in a nursing net so the other fish dont attack her. I have been treating it for about a week but now the eye has gone complety cloudy where as before it was just a bit of white in the bottom of the eye, and it has also developed a hole. Is this normal? If she loses the eye can she still survive?

What you got from the pet store isn't getting the job done at all. You need to go back to the store and get either Furanace or Marycn to treat the fish. If that store doesn't have one these, find another store. These are a bit stronger than what you have been using and will take care of the infection, just treat as the box directs for 7-10 days. It will take a bit longer than that for everything to heal up, but you do need to treat that long to cure the fish.

Best of luck!
