I'm adapting the film "Caligula" into a stage musical. Will it be well-received?

Also - I welcome your suggestions regarding how to make the decapitation scene work on stage. Thanks!

i think you should do a symbolic cutting off of his hand instead of a head - it was the last time in history when "fisting" was as common as a saying hello and giving a friend a peck on the cheek!

them were the good old days!

Pixie - I am going to be blunt? may I fist your azz?

The film was absolute crap. Why waste the energy putting together a production for the stage?

It may work i think theatre work/stage work is far more upfront and in your face than films...i say go for it knock yourself out!

Decapatation aye? Well, you could take "fifteen minutes of fame" to extreme literacy.

"Sure kid, you die at the end, but up until then you'll be a staaaarrrrrrr!"

I don't think so, but it may have some appeal to a small audience.
