uh i belive it was the forties and fifties w/ rosie the riviter came into action after the war soldiers came home and demanded they're jobs back the new female workers said "shove it" and some stayed in the work force and some went back to being the stay at home housewife/mom fifty years later the gender stereotype is still around i know when i get married my wife will probably make more money than me so to ease her life a little i'll have to learn how to do the cooking cleaning and other house stuff i better or i'll be living in my van and she'll be living with another man and i'll be alone

Some men can iron and are much better at it than women. Find a military man, they learn to iron in the services.

They can, he irons his clothes and my clothes too. I use to do all the ironing because I like to but I went on strike about 2 years into our marriage because he would not cook so he had to do it all so now he cooks, cleans and do the laundry including the ironing which we take turns doing. Sometimes it is fun to do it together.

My girlfriend doesn't iron, therefore I iron myself a shirt every morning :)
And we're both happy that way.

The thing that men are best at is ironing out excuses!! We do it, they expect us to do it and although they can do it they pretend they cant!!

Hey, don't paint with such a broad brush. I can! Maybe most guys can't cause they have never had to. Make the guy you're talking about iron his own darned clothes!

of course they can unless theres a medical problem preventing them.it should read -why dont men want to iron.my husband irons better than anyone i know but he was in the army,and they arnt allowed excuses.

I dont know if that is acurate, by I myself can Iron and have ben doing it for 10 years.
