that he can't find half the words, even though I provided hints!!!

I mean, he's really mad; it's driving him nuts, he's stared at it for hours! Then he gets all in a bad mood.

Is he being ungrateful or what?

It took me hours to make up this homemade gift for him!

Should I just circle all the answers to shut him up?

I've given him many more additional hints and sat down with him for over an hour.

It was a gift for Valentine's day, something personal and creative.

The point here is that I think he is being very ungrateful!

Hahaha! Think that that's a great gift. It's obvious that u put some thought into it. hahaha. That's what a gift is supposed to be, not just something that u bought because u were obligated because of a special day. I think that your husband should be very appreciative. I think that his frustration is because he doesn't want to look like u outsmarted him, which is a shame. Alot of people still let society's ideas of what men and women should be run their lives and I would assume that him not being able to find the words affects him so much because of this. He's probably one of those guys who thinks that he should be able to do things better than women just because he's a man. If not then it doesn't seem like he would be so mad. It's eating at him that he can't figure it out. I'm sure if one of his guy friends had given it to him he wouldn't be upset. It's a shame how much brain-washing occurs. If I was your husband I would be impressed. Hell, i'm impressed even though i'm not your husband. Hahaha! Good Job!

No. Not ungrateful. Just frustrated. This is driving him nuts, as you say. The puzzle must be really difficult. Rather like I feel when I try to do a Rubik's Cube or something. I'm confused, tho. Is it a crossword or is it a find-a-word? Ask him if he wants you to circle the answers, or whether he wants to solve the puzzle himself. Next time, make one that's not quite so hard to do.

Awww... I don't think he is being ungrateful, I think he is just frustrated and probably a little embarrassed that he can't figure it out. Guys want to be capable to do everything. His ego is hurt. Mabe you can fix this and help him save some of his manhood by telling him you probably made some mistakes in the puzzle, and that is why he can't figure it out. Tell him you made it for him cause you love him so much and you are sorry it turned out to be so frustrating. Making the puzzle was a great idea, but remember guys don't think like us, so what seems easy for you will not be for him. Let him off the hook, so he can be happy again.

Its just a cross word puzzle. Both of u should simmer down and look at your life in a more mature and meaningful perspective. To be honest I'm puzzled by his behavior, and why u gave him a crossword puzzle as a gift. For what kind of event? I'm confused. Yes u should circle the answers if he's stared at it for hours

The hints and pictures may seem obvious to you, but he's a different person, and might not see how they relate. Sometimes males think differently than females do, it's just a fact of relationships.

Try cuddling up in his lap and helping him out, lots of kisses and so forth. I'm sure he appreciates the gift as a gift, but he'll be happy to have it finished and the cuddle time can make it easier to work on.

While I wouldn't suggest you circle all the answers just to shut him up, I strongly recommend you help him figure out the message you're trying to send him. Try giving him easier to figure out clues and hints and, coach him along. Who knows? I think he would be most greatful to you for all the extra attention. I hope my answer helps you, Good Luck.

The fact that you came up with the crossword puzzle and he can't figure it out has BRUISED his EGO. Be GENTLE the male EGO is very FRAGILE.
