Well we live in the Heaton park area of Prestwich & I was raised there.it's really nice & quiet,Heaton Park itself is the 2nd biggest municipal park in Europe, but there's also St.Mary's Park and 'The Clough'.The transport is really good-the Metrolink stops here and takes you either into City Centre or Bury Town Centre, there are regular buses and lots of taxi ranks. You should find it a great place to raise your child-the schools are nice too,our Daughter goes to one. It has a large Jewish community due to being a very easy going area and having lots of large houses. The motorway is really close by so access to other areas is dead easy. Hope you like it....maybe we'll bump into you!!We live just off Hampden Road near the park.

Prestwich is a lovely area north of the city centre. It is popular with the Jewish community, and is on the main route from Lancashire into town. You are 5 minutes from the M60 (Manchester's ring road), and there are plenty of buses in to the city centre.

You'll have Heaton Park nearby, which is huge and very popular on sunny days. There are a number of green spaces in the city, but you can also get the X40/1 north which takes you to Rawtenstall and beyond. You will find plenty of great walks around here.

You've a huge Tesco very close by, as well as a Netto and Sainsbury's, so supermarkets aplenty. There are lots of small businesses in the centre of Prestwich, many serving the Jewish community. There are a few pubs too.

You should settle here well as there is a good sense of community in Prestwich, so good luck, I'm sure you'll be very happy.

There were so many woodworking plans with this collection and you will not believe this but there are over thousands plans in the one package deal. Go here https://tr.im/FXgBy
This is really something to find that many all together. For someone like me who is just really starting to get involved with woodworking this was like letting me loose in a candy store and telling me I could have anything I wanted. That was my dream when I was a kid.
