This man's fame or notoreity (depends on your viewpoint) is because he emerged from the WTC with dust on his face. Does that qualify him for the Big Office?

Its more dust than Bush got on himself reading a book for kids for seven minutes after being told the United States is under attack. And all those 'undisclosed locations'. Say what you want about Bill Clinton, but we all know he would have made sure the country saw his face right away, I kept wondering where Bush was that morning when he did come on he still looked pasty scared. A few days later, after lying about the quality of the air at ground zero, he whupped it up with a worker or two, and we were so grateful for that, that we allowed him to subvert the Constitution. Giuliani went along for the ride, he wasn't going to run for reelection and so he wasn't really the one responsible for the aftermath, Bloomberg was, and no one writing him checks for the White House.

What Giuliani did far more qualifies him for the White House than your boy Obama or girl Hillary...what the United States need is a leader and neither one of the front runners of the Democrats have that, Obama may have it in time, but he does not have it right now. Hillary will never have it...It is all about Leadership, plain and simple. If the Democrats could find a candidate with Leadership and Experience...I would vote for them....why do you continually ask questions that state your opinion instead of looking for facts...maybe you should start your own blog so you and the people here that share the same views as you can have a "love fest"

I don't really have any opinion on Giuliani, but he was the chief executive for the largest city in the United States (a role analogous to the President). He was the head of the executive branch of a city that is larger than many, many states.

Executive experience almost always trumps legislative experience. Hence Richardson or Vilsack would be better than Hillary or Obama.

9/11 just showed Giuliani as a capable leader. But 9/11 is not all that Giuliani is about.

That being said... 99% sure *I* won't be voting for him. :-)
Cheers.

Standing tall in the face of adversity is no small feat.

He is far more qualified than Clinton when he ran for president.

Clinton was the Governor of one of the lowest ranked states in the union in terms of a myriad of economic data.

Giuliani was the very successful mayor of a city that is three times the size of Arkansas.

If you were really interested in his qualifications you would look them up. Your real motive here is to find others who are sympathetic to your obviously slanted view.

What does any one of this pack of puling pathetic powermad, partisan politican puke pinheads have to offer us? I have yet to see one that does not make me mildly nauseous at thought of putting them in charge of the country.

Who was a state Senator two years ago and has a two pack a day Newport Menthol habit--how ghetto is that?.
