Oh dear, you need to get out more. Stimulate your brain. I know having a baby can have a seriously adverse effect on a woman, but watching the washing machine spin around? YIKES
I used to get a thrill out of vacuuming, when I was a new mom, now that's weird, even if I do say so myself. lol

Only when we got our first washing machine and I wanted to make sure it was working. Put it on the wrong cycle and spent 3 hours watching the damn thing

When I make bread in my breadmachine I like to watch the dough spin and then eventually rise.

I can identify with that. I used to watch the clothes go wishy washy all the time. My present washer won't run with the lid up, so now my fun is gone.

when i was little, i once responded to the statement, "a watched pot never boils" as if it were a challenge. i watched the pot boil. seems i have the attention span capable of watching people paint fences, water boil, bread rise, etc.
