I was just wondering whether someone while under the influence (drunk) is likely to tell to the truth, just be more honest with what they are saying... I know this person that hates to talk about certain things but when under the influence speaks out her mind like there's no tomorrow... Can these things being said be taken to be true, out of her subconscious, or can they just be random mumbling due to the alcohol... Can you guys help me here, there are some things that were said that are very important to me if they were to be true... should i take them as serious or simply desregard them as b.s. due to the alcohol? Thanks.

I as someone who used to drink alot have found that the drunker and more happy or mad a person gets the less likley the things they say are true, what ever was said to you was most likley the rambling of a drunken fool, which is what most turn in to when they drink. so i would just blow it off and talk to the person sober, be earnest and tell them you need answers, good luck to you hope this helps

They say the truth comes out or people show there true "colors". When you're under the influence you have no inhibitions, so I believe this saying to hold truth.
