1) George W. Bush is the most unpopular President in American history, as well as the least successful in all recent opinion polls. The Democrat led congress actually has the lowest approval rating in history at 9%. Last time I checked, Bush was at 32%. 2) From the viewpoint of the electorate, the Iraq war was a mistake. Agreed, I saw no reason to stop Saddam from killing millions of his own people. No reason to stop him and his children from raping thousands of women. No reason to stop him from rebuilding his WMD's and if you think he wasn't trying, then you're an idiot. 3) From the viewpoint of the electorate, more regulation is a good thing right now and the policies of deregulation caused the current crisis. Yes, the Bill Clinton deregulation is exactly what caused the current problems. Funny thing though, in 2004 and 2005 when Republicans and regulators were screaming about the financial problems that were going to happen because of that deregulation. Democrats got all pissed off because putting the controls back in place would have cost them minority votes 4) The public likes Obama more than they like McCain, and very few people care about the Ayers issue compared to the economy. Obama isn't a US citizen, when the courts rule against him, who are you going to blame? How in the world does John McCain get to 270 without Virginia, Ohio, and Colorado? McCain will win, don't worry about that. I just feel sorry for the idiots that donated almost $500 million to his campaign.

John McCain...better known as Bush lite, unfortunately has the Colin Powell's disease.
You see, John McCain like Powell at one point in time could have been and should have been President of the U.S. but he decided to play second fiddle to the dope we have in the White House today, which really undermines the man's character. Now that the dope is done serving his 8 years now Mccain wants to be president....guess what, he had his chance and he passed it up and gave it up to Bush, he capitulated to Bushco's bullying and pressure and caved submissively to a man most people feel is far below his character, merit and education. It's a character flaw, so why would we vote for him now?

Mr. McCain is doing his best to find himself to the far right. I use to respect McCain for his maverick approach in 2000 when took on Jerry Falwell. Well here comes 2008 and guess who McCain is kissing up none other that one of prophets of the GOP.

Yes! He's not going to get the nominee. That will go to Guiliuni with Romney by his side.

Conservatives so hate the truth that they will castigate and be-little a war veteran for speaking about a subject he is well qualified to speak about.
Now, Bush's only encounter with war is the one he plays with toy soldiers in the bath, but you are happy to accept his word over McCain's.
Strange people.. Conservatives, Strange.

When McCain is desperate for votes, he actually says smart things. That is the danger. The closer we get to '08, the more like Churchill, Reagan, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt he becomes.

John McCain is a major flip-flopper!
He's running again, and this time he'll say almost anything.
